Traits: mischievous, carefree, impulsive, fiery, faithful, capricious.Summary: While Urdess is well aware of the evil and depravity that exists throughout the shards, she prefers to look for the glimmer of light and hope in any situation. Quick to laugh and love, she flits through life like a brightly coloured butterfly. If she was caught and tortured, she would probably find something positive in the situation and laugh at her captors (before stealing their keys and making off with all of their prized possesions).Early Background (in a nutshell):
Urdess Stardancer was born in the woodlands of the South Shroud. Her mother had moved to the settlement of Boughberry from Gridania. When the Rebelly Bandits took over the settlement, Urdess’ mother chose to stay. Her father was a Wood Wailer archer - he was sent to clean out the Redbelly Hive, but was injured and found by Urdess’ mother who instead of killing him, nursed him back to health and fell in love with him. The two had an illicit love affair - concealing their relationship from both the Wood Wailers and the Redbelly bandits. When Urdess was born, they moved closer to Quarrymill, where they lived happily until Urdess was five.At five years old, Urdess’ father was killed in a skirmish with a band of Garlean deserters who had been raiding the East Shroud. Feeling the need to move from a place filled with so many memories, her mother took Urdess to Limsa Lominsa. It was here that Urdess felt that she was really “home”. While she had enjoyed frolicking through the woodlands of Gridania and playing pranks on the ever-serious Wood Wailer guards, Limsa was a town that was full of opportunity for a light-fingered, mischievous miqo’te kitten.
Urdess was a precocious child who delighted in pranking the Maelstrom Guard, stealing food and shiny objects from travelers to Limsa and hanging around the privateers on the docks - picking up language that would have her mother frequently boxing her ears. She would constantly beg the privateers to let her come along with them and had been fished out of the hold of ships on several occasions by amused sailors. Urdess also organised all kinds of wild escapades with the other children who frequented the Lower Docks.During one such escapade, she happened upon a quiet, white-haired miqo boy who had been silently observing her. As she raced past with guards in hot pursuit, she had laughingly grabbed his arm and towed him along with her - to his great surprise and consternation - claiming he was the mastermind of the whole thing! What could he do but be swept up in her wild energy? Once he got over his outrage, Urdos Sunsoar and Urdess had became the best of friends - family really - with him often sighing and giving her long-suffering expressions as she revealed to him her next “great plan” for an adventure. She even corrupted poor Ziggy - Urdos’ pet nutkin - teaching him to steal small objects and pick locks much to Urdos’ great consternation.When Urdess turned 14, she got it into her mind that she would become a Wood Wailer like her father before her. She was incredibly talented with the bow and gun and was determined that this was what she wanted to do, despite Urdos pleading with her that this was a terrible idea and that besides - she wasn’t even 16 yet so they wouldn’t allow her to join.Refusing to listen to reason, she set out for Gridania - Urdos reluctantly in tow - where she faked her age and joined the Wood Wailers; for exactly 6 months. Her prodigious skills cut her a lot of breaks, but her wilfulness and refusal to follow just about any order finally saw her evicted from the Wood Wailers. After this, she and Urdos wandered throughout Gridania looking for hidden treasures and adventures; of which they found both, including their matched pair of night pegasus foals.But this was just the beginning of both of their adventures...Hooks:

Urdos Sunsoar was born in the Dravanian Forelands. His mother was an adventurer and his father a hunter. Urdos grew up spending much of his time learning hunting skills from his father while his mother was abroad completing tasks for the Adventurers Guild. When he was five he found a half-dead nutkin while helping his father track a wyvern. He father urged him to “put the poor thing out of it’s misery,” but Urdos refused, believing he could save its life - and save it he did. Ziggy has been his constant companion since that day.At the age of 8, his father was killed by a band of Gnath and his mother took him to live in Limsa Lominsa. The city was like nothing he had ever experienced and he felt terribly displaced initially from all the noise and bustle when compared to his almost solitary life with his father. As his mother was often absent, he spent his time fishing or listening at the docks to the stories the sailors told of adventure, gold and strange lands - stories that filled him with the yearning to see more of Eorzea. It was during this time that he first met Urdess Stardancer. She came into his life like a whirlwind, like a firestorm. Almost a polar opposite to his quiet nature she was always dragging him along in her mad schemes and pranks on the Maelstrom guards. The two swiftly became the best of friends - the brother and sister that neither had had.Shortly after Urdos had turned 16, Urdess had decided to move to Gridania to try her hand at joining the Wood Wailers as an archer, dragging Urdos with her. Suffice to say, neither were a good candidate for following orders and the two instead set off to explore the lands of Gridania where they had many adventures together. One of which includes finding a pair of night pegasus foals next to their dead mother on the outskirts of the ruins of Gelmorra. They raised and trained them - Urdos calling his Eclipse and Urdess calling hers Nightfall.This was just the beginning of both of their adventures...Hooks"Excuse me, can you help me please?""Hey! I play both Urdos and Urdess as my main characters.I am brand new to roleplaying, so please be patient with me.Walk-up RP approaches welcomed.Not interested in mature/edgy RP with under 18's (prefer 21+).I live in Australia and run on GMT 10+ time.
